Robbery Suspects Stick Around to Watch Police Interview of Victim

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man told police last night he was robbed by a couple of guys who threatened him with strangulation and a gun.

It started with two men on the northside of town asking if the victim wanted to buy some Cd's and marijuana. He told them 'no', but one of the guys grabbed him by the neck, then pulled out a gun.

The victim was taken out of his truck, knocked to the ground, and robbed of his cash. Right after the suspects left, the victim drove over to a convenience store to call 911.

So how did the police find the suspects? They kept hanging around and asking questions while the victim was being interviewed.

According to police, 27-year old David James and 23-year old Lorris Puckett acted like they were from out of town. But after they finished asking for directions from the police officer, the victim pointed out they were the two guys who robbed him.
