CORPUS CHRISTI - City leaders took a step forward today towards bring you more water.
City Council voted unanimously on a first reading to authorize a bond of up to $155 million-dollars to complete phase two of the Mary Rhodes Project.
They broke ground on the project in April and hope to have water flowing by next summer.
If it passes, the bond will be paid through utility revenues, not taxes or fees.
