Restaurant Manager Speaks Out About Abuse Caught On Tape

CORPUS CHRISTI - We obtained a video of a man physically attacking a young girl Wednesday night at the Golden Corral on S.P.I.D. Police believe the girl was between the ages of 12 to 13.
The manager for Golden Corral, Gabriela Bocanegra, says she knew something was off about the man as soon as he entered the restaurant. She says he was yelling obscenities at the family.
"I just saw them, you know, screaming when he just came in. And since then I keep my eyes on him see what he's going to do," said Bocanegra.
And it's a good thing she did, because just a few minutes later you could see the person she believes to be his wife, begin to leave. This is when the girl tripped and fell to the ground, then as she got up the man grabbed the back of her neck shoving her out the front doors.
At this point Bocanegra went to grab her phone so she could call police.
"Imagine if he does this in public, what he would do to that little girl in her house," said Bocanegra.
She says the family went back to their car. There was more yelling, then she saw the young girl run around the car. Then the man walked up to her and push her to the ground.
"I feel sorry for this little girl. How can you treat your kids like that in public? It's not, I don't think it's good, I don't think it's fair for them," said Bocanegra.
Bocanegra says the man then tried to go back into the restaurant. But she says she wasn't having that.
"I told him you know what, you're not coming back. I'm gonna call the police and then I don't want to see you here again," said Bocanegra.
She says the man then began to yell at her saying he was going to get her before leaving. But by the time police arrived, he was gone.
