Red Ribbon Week at Miller this year is from October 28 to November first. Several activities will be taking place on campus.
Monday-"Peace out to Drugs", wear 70's attire
Tuesday-"Too bright for Drugs", wear neon or bling
Wednesday-"Team up against Drugs", wear Jerseys or spirit wear
Thursday-"Real Heroes don't use Drugs", Super hero day
Friday-"Red out Day"
Palmer Drug Abuse Program will have presentations on Wednesday during 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th periods in the Auditorium. They will be discussing their free drug program and a little bit about their own story of recovery.
Christus Spohn Health System will be on campus during lunch periods on Wednesday, giving away information on recovery programs in our area, as well as information on Medicaid and CHIPS.
There will also be daily announcements highlighting Red Ribbon Week and students will be given "bricks" during lunch to pledge a drug free life. These bricks will be displayed in the main hallway.
