Red Day Park Clean Up

CORPUS CHRISTI- An area park looks brand new thanks to the hard work from volunteers.

Volunteers from the Keller Willams Realty were given permission from the city to paint over graffiti and replace some playground equipment at a park on Sunnybrook Street.

Their work was all part of Red Day.

For the past nine years, employees have planted gardens, built wheelchair ramps and collected donations for shelters as a way of given back to the community.

Alice Bussey said," We get so wrapped up in our everyday work life, but there are sometimes day that you have to come back and give back."

If you know of an area that needs to be freshened up you can contact Alice Bussey at 361-533-1574.
