Ray Girls Brace Battle

CORPUS CHRISTI - The best way to describe tonight's game between Ray and Victoria East is by calling it a war. To say the Lady Texans want to win, would be an understatement, especially when you consider the fact that the Titans have knocked them out of the playoffs each of the last two years.
"Its definitely gonna be a war and right now its tied up because they are athletic and we are smart and we are gonna have to see how it plays out," said Guard Dori Bonilla.
"Defense is always the key in every single game we play and then offense will come after that," said Post Shanell Stewart.
Ray also says they're playing with a chip on their shoulder after losing the district title to Moody.
"It hurt a lot losing district so we are focused on going far, going to state I mean really far because we have been getting out in the second round the last two years," said Guard Cayla Shelton.
The theme around Ray is "Third Time's a Charm".
Tip off is slated for 7:30pm in Woodsboro. We'll have complete game highlights at 10pm.
