CORPUS CHRISTI- Temperatures will be lower but not necessarily cooler with only scattered rainfall activity due to the weakness of the rare august cold front stalling over the region later today. At least it will be better than the no rain at all and upper 90's we have seen since last Saturday. The small opportunity for rain will linger as the front slowly dissipates over south Texas thru Monday of next week.
Today expect more clouds not quite as hot with isolated thundershowers still humid with a high of 95.
Tonight we will have isolated thundershowers a lot less wind and a low of 73.
Saturday we will have scattered thundershowers (not everybody gets rain) with variable cloudiness light winds and a high of only 92.
Sunday we will have a return to just isolated thundershowers a continuation of unusually light winds and a high of 91.
Enjoy your weekend and the still hot but lower temperatures.
In the tropics tropical storm Bertha has formed and is now near the Lesser Antilles but is no threat to the US and is not expected to become a strong hurricane.
