CORPUS CHRISTI- It was another nice day after Sunday's rain over the city and much of the eastern half of the area. We started cooler at 74 and ended with a high of only 92. Generally light winds are expected the rest of this week with seasonal lows (for a change) and hot daytime highs but not quite as bad as the record heat we had last week. The tropical disturbance in the eastern Gulf shows no signs of development and is expected to drift into Florida with heavy rain this week. The system is not a threat to this area.
Tonight will be quiet nearly calm mainly clear and a little cooler with a low of 72.
Tuesday and Wednesday expect generally light winds with the exception of a late afternoon sea breeze dry and hotter with a high tomorrow of 95 and 94 on Wednesday.
