CORPUS CHRISTI- It was hotter today with a high of 94 but we kept our generally light winds. Late this afternoon Tropical Storm Andrea quickly formed in the eastern Gulf of Mexico about 300 miles southwest of Tamp Florida. As we have maintained all week, this tropical system is no threat to interests along the Texas coast. Here is the detailed forecast.
Light winds will continue to prevail the rest of this week with seasonal temperatures. This means it will be hot during the day but almost cool at night. Andrea in the eastern Gulf is no threat and is only a big rainmaker for Florida.
Tonight expect fair skies with a low of 73.
Thursday we will have light winds mainly sunny skies dry and hot with a high today of 94 and a stray shower to the north by evening.
Friday we will have an isolated shower with a high of only 91.
