Puppy Thrown from Car

CORPUS CHRISTI - A puppy suffered life-threatening injuries after it was thrown out of a car.

A witness saw someone throw a German Shepard puppy out of a car near the Memory Gardens cemetery.

The puppy was taken to a vet and is recovering. An animal rescue group has managed to find the puppy a foster home until he can be adopted.

We're told the puppy's injuries are similar to burns and have to be cleaned twice a day.
The animal rescue group and officials with Everhart Animal Hospital are collecting items for a rummage sale on Sunday.

The money raised will be used to cover the puppy's medical expenses.

If you are interested in making a donation or adopting the puppy, just stop by the Everhart Animal Hospital at 4232 S. Padre Island Dr.
