CORPUS CHRISTI -- Max, Noah and Stormy...those are the names of three puppies found in a storm drain.
A couple people in the Meadowbreeze Parkway neighborhood -- near Holly and Wooldridge -- found these pups on Thursday and rescued them from the storm drain.
The man who first spotted the furry puppies, said they could've easily drowned.
Michael Bonanza said, "Someone probably went out in the middle of the street, opened up a manhole cover and said I can't take these puppies anymore, threw them down there and just let it be and I was really happy I could walk by and find them."
The woman who helped pull the puppies to safety already took them to the vet...who told her their six weeks old and healthy.
But she can't keep them.
Bettina Levya said,"I need homes for these and I just didn't want to give them away. I want a good home with a yard, responsible pet owners who keep them indoors and love them."
