Local Pelican Picks 49ers To Win Superbowl - KZTV

CORPUS CHRISTI - Punx the Brown Pelican of the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi picked the San Francisco 49ers to win Super Bowl XLVII.

The bird hat underwent rehabilitation at the facility was fed fish to keep him focused before making the choice between the 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens.

As soon as he was ready, he waved his bill twice toward the San Francisco helmet then went right back to his cage.

Catch Super Bowl XLVII on KZTV this Sunday. Kickoff at 5:30 p.m. (CST).
