CORPUS CHRISTI - The punishment phase will continue this morning in the trial of a former Flour Bluff adult day care owner accused of abusing the elderly.
A jury found Najmeh Griffin guilty of injuring an elderly person last week.
Prosecutors said Griffin hung bags filled with urine and feces around the necks of two patients.
Witnesses also testified to more shocking incidents. One employee said Griffin yelled at a male Alzheimer's patient for going into a women's bathroom. The same witness said Griffin was always angry and very mean.
Prosecutors are expected to call more witnesses today.
