CORPUS CHRISTI - Police were called to the downtown offices of the Internal Revenue Service today after a small group of people gathered outside for a protest.
The protesters are upset about the tax agency's recent bad dealings with conservative-based groups seeking tax-exemptions.
The roughly 2 dozen protestors say that the IRS is a symbol of bad government.
"This is about the protest of the IRS and the corruption of Washington. They've over-stepped their bounds, they've overtaxed us too much and now they've become a political entity. They've given information to the President and his forces, and we're here to say enough is enough. They don't belong in politics, they should be a private entity," said protester Rick Milby.
