Professional MMA Returns to the American Bank Center March 23rd

CORPUS CHRISTI - For the first time in nearly 6-months an all pro all MMA fight card is headed to the Coastal Bend, as Rock's Extreme MMA II will take over the exhibit hall of the American Bank Center on March 23rd.
All in all nine of the ten fights will involve a local pro with Hector Munoz headlining the card along with Chris Pecero.
"Definitely honored to headline, the talent here is unbelievable the guys are making names for themselves nationally and I think its great to headline this card, they will set the stage and I will close it with a bang," said Munoz.
For Munoz this fight is personal, as he still remembers losing in front of his home crowd back during the innagural Tournament of Warriors. After that, Munoz was forced to fight up in the 170 pound division, but is now back to his normal fighting weight.
"That's what is motivating me, I think about the fight every single day, it's made me train harder and get better.
The slugfest will also showcase a few first timers making their pro debut, like female sensation Paulina Granados who was undefeated as an amateur.
"It's crazy that I am going pro, I went undefeated as an amateur and now I feel ready and I am ready to bring a show to Corpus," said Granados.

Audrey Alvarez (Corpus Christi) 1-0
Paulina Granados (Corpus Christi) Pro Debut
Kirk Hubble (Corpus Christi) 1-1
Santos Rosalez (Corpus Christi) Pro Debut
Elias Garcia (Corpus Christi) 1-0
Rock's also donated $2,000 to the Texas Memorial Peace Officers Fund on Wednesday afternoon, and plans to donate proceeds from this fight to the Corpus Christi Parks and Rec Department.
