Pricey Pink Pomeranian Missing: Reward Available

CORPUS CHRISTI -- A local man's dog went missing a couple days ago and he said, his pomeranian pup is worth a pretty penny. His owner, Doctor Mario Martinez said he's desperate to get him back.
"I bought the dog from South Korea, he's a very expensive dog," Dr. Martinez said.
Maxx is a miniature pomeranian who was dyed pink for breast cancer awareness. The pink pooch was shipped to the United States to be part of the Martinez family but he went missing on Monday. Dr. Martinez said, surveillance video shows a man trying to return Maxx, who was seen running in the street near their house.
"The young man came to the front door rang the doorbell but no one was home," Dr. Martinez said.
That's when the man with the dog walked away. Dr. Martinez said, the rare breed cost him upwards of seven thousand dollars but his value isn't monetary. Maxx is a very important member of the family.
"My daughter is very upset about the dog being missing," he said.
The family is hoping the man who walked away with Maxx bring him home. Plus, time is of the essence because Maxx is only is 8 months old and suffers from asthma and seizure disorders. Martinez said he takes medication daily but hasn't had a dose in more than 48 hours.
"He needs his medication very badly or he could die," he said.
The housekeeper said, she puts Maxx's collar on everyday but he's able to scratch it off over his head, leaving him without an address or contact phone number. The family has posted flyers around town in hopes that Maxx will be reunited with them soon.
