AEP is reporting two power outages to customers in Nueces County and Jim Wells County. 1,275 customers were initially without power in Corpus Christi. An AEP spokesperson said wires that somehow fell down around 4:00 pm affected a circuit breaker. AEP has restored power to 300 of those customers. Workers are currently trying to restore power to the remaining 900 customers. They estimate all Nueces County customers will have power back on by 6:30 pm.

In Alice, 918 customers lost power around 4:30 pm. The same spokesperson said they're working to restore their power as well. They expect full restoration by 7:30 pm.
