CORPUS CHRISTI --A construction mishap caused a mess early this morning.
This happened at the intersection of S.P.I.D. and Everhart.
According to police, an operator of a dump truck that had dumped materials forgot to lower the bed of the truck.
The bed took down power lines in the area, and that caused two utility poles to come down.
Because of the incident, the lights at Everhart between S.P.I.D. and McArdle were not working.
It also caused traffic delays. Police had to shut down the north bound lanes at S.P.I.D. and Everhart.
