Power Cables Stolen from Wastewater Plant Construction Site

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are looking for the suspect or suspects who stole $10,000 in power cables from the construction site for a wastewater treatment plant at 945 Resaca Street over the Thanksgiving holiday. The site is near the Port of Corpus Christi.

Investigators say only power cables that were not in use were stolen. An employee at the construction site says those responsible would have been killed instantly had they tried to cut the power cables that are in use.
