CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are looking for a man who likely used a stolen diesel 4x4 pickup during theft of thousands of dollars from an ATM at First National Bank on S. Padre Island Drive in Flour Bluff.
The suspect used a cutting tool to open the machine, then yanked off the door with a chain tied to the truck's tow hitch. At the time he was wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
He may have taken the truck from a repo lot just down the road from the bank before the theft.
This morning police found the stolen truck arked in the Oso Bridge Plaza, not far from the bank. There's some minor damage to the front end from the thief using it to knock down the gate at the repo lot.
If you have any information on this incident, call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS.
