Possible Racial Motivation in Killing of Young Girl

MISSISSIPPI (WDAM) - Court documents indicate an accused Mississippi child killer tried to use a little girl's death as a way to gain membership into the ultra white supremacist group known as the Aryan Nation Brotherhood.

Justin Blakeney is awaiting trial on capital murder charges in the August 2010 death of Victoria Viner, his girlfriend's 2-year-old daughter.

A search warrant last week on Blakeney's body and jail cell, plus statements from a confidential informant may shed some new light on his guilt or innocence.

A confidential informant said to be a member of the Aryan Nation told authorities that Blakeney confessed to murdering the girl as a way of gaining membership into the organization.

Viner's mother is Mexican.
