PORTLAND - A teenager on a bike was hit by a Portland police officer's cruiser last night at Buddy Ganem and Memorial.
The officer just made a turn when he saw two bicycling teens headed towards him. He hit hit brakes, but not in time to avoid hitting a 17-year-old.
The teen landed on the hood of the patrol car, but only suffered some bumps and bruises.
She was sitting up and talking when the ambulance showed up. No tickets have been issued in connection with the crash.
