Port Aransas Police Looking for Monkey in Bite Case

PORT ARANSAS - A man was attacked by a monkey and now police are looking for the mammal. Port Aransas police confirmed that Wednesday morning the victim and the owner of the monkey were hanging out a the Tropic Isle RV Park when the monkey bit the guy.

He was rushed to the hospital where he received stitches to his right arm.

Police showed up to the owner's home, but he and the monkey were gone. Officers are trying to track down the two.

When the monkey is caught it will be quarantined for rabies observation.
