Port Aransas Fire

(Corpus Christi) - Authorities in Port Aransas say fireworks are to blame for starting a fire at a condominium. It all happened around 8 o'clock last night and quickly spread. Firemen say that it burned at least five acres of grass and dunes. It took about two hours before they got it under control. The fire chief in Port Aransas says fireworks on the island are dangerous due to the soft sands and high dunes. At this point, authorities are still looking into who set off the fireworks.
