Pool Game Results in Stabbing on Ayers Street

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man was stabbed over a game of pool Sunday night, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Officials say the 24-year-old victim was playing pool at El Rincon Del Viejo, a bar in the 3200 block of Ayers, when he got into a fight with another group of men.

The victim was reportedly leaving the bar when he was stabbed two times in the lower back.

He was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the attacker and three other men took off on foot before they arrived.
