CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are waiting for more information from the medical examiner before releasing any more details on yesterday's discovery of two bodies inside a burning home in Flour Bluff.

Firefighters made the discovery at the home where neighbors say 81-year-old Charles Delong III and 49-year-old Cheryl Harville lived with a third person. Fire officials said Thursday afternoon that evidence points to the fire being intentionally set.

One of the victims had gunshot wounds, but there's no determination from police on how that happened. Yesterday, police said they were working on finding out if the person was shot before the fire or was injured when bullets cooked off during the fire.

Homicide detectives were still at the home in the 400 block of Military Drive late Thursday evening taking an inventory of firearms found in the home.
