Police Unable to Find Suspect or Victim in Overnight Shooting

CORPUS CHRISTI - Officers checking out a shooting at the Casa de Santa Fe apartments just after midnight were able to find shell casings and a trail of blood, but neither the victim nor the shooter were found.

Witnesses told police two men got into a fight where several shots were fired. They also heard one man screaming about being shot.

Officers will likely have to wait and see if anyone shows up at an area hospital or doctor's office with a gunshot wound.
