Police Talk to Family Seen in Child Shoving Video

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police have finally talked with the man caught on surveillance video roughing up a young girl at a Golden Corral restaurant in Corpus Christi.

Police tell us the man seen in the video is the father of the girl. According to police, after the video aired, the father, daughter and his wife showed up to the police station to give their statements.

The video provided by the manager of the restaurant shows the family leaving Golden Corral when the girl trips and falls. Her father grabs her by the neck and shoves her out the door.

The shoving continues outside in the parking lot where the girl runs around an SUV and is pushed down to the ground.

Police haven't said if any charges will be filed because the case is still being investigated.
