CORPUS CHRISTI -- A man was fatally shot late Monday night at a car was on 15th and Morgan and police are still searching for two suspects in connection with the shooting.

A neighbor living right across the street from the bloody crime scene described what he heard in the middle of the night that had him running to see what happened.

"I was laying down I was asleep, when I heard the gunshots so I ran out and the guy was out there laying on the ground," he said.

That body was Juan Ramirez, 34, a father of three who had been shot multiple times.

Neighbors say after they heard the gunshots they looked out their windows and saw Ramirez laying in his own blood in front of the car wash.

"I heard up to 5 I think it was, I don't know if it was more than that but that's what I heard," a neighbor said.

Investigators are looking for two suspects in connection to the shooting who may have been driving a maroon Pontiac Grand AM.

Neighbors didn't see any cars flee the seen but says all he could think about was the body lying on the ground and the safety of his family.

"I was scared because of my kids sleeping in the back and that was about it, it's a scary thing," he added.

Police say Ramirez was taken to the hospital but later died. Family members say that he was a fun loving man who loved his children more than anything.

Below is surveillance video of the two men who may have more information in the case. They were seen near a 4-door sedan at the car wash.

The first man is seen getting out of the car while talking on a cell phone. He walks around the lot several times before talking to another man in a jacket, who also may know more information, before driving out of the camera's view.
