CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are still searching for an armed man who held up a clerk at the Family Dollar near Greenwood last night around 9:00. Cops say the suspect walked in, picked a few items, went to the counter, even paid and then pulled out a gun on the clerk when the register opened. The cashier refused to hand over the money and police say the suspect pulled the trigger but the gun didn't fire so he ran out instead. The suspect is described as an Hispanic man wearing black jeans, a gray hoodie and black hat with a dollar bill sign. Call crimestoppers if you have any information on this.
