CORPUS CHRISTI -- Emergency crews and police rushed to the scene of a major accident tonight on SPID at Greenwood.

Police say a woman driving a blue vehicle turned in front of a 33-year-old man driving a jeep.

Officers say the man was partially ejected on impact and his seat belt helped to save his life.

He went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The man's young nephew -- who was a passenger in the jeep -- was also hurt but will be OK.

Police say the woman -- driving the blue vehicle -- will likely get a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
