CORPUS CHRISTI -- Police are looking into the second Subway sandwich robbery in two days and say the same suspect may be responsible for both.
Around 9 o'clock Monday night police say a black man, wearing a black hoodie and black sweat pants walked into the Subway at Kostoryz and Gollihar.
He asked for a chocolate chip cookie and police say when the clerk went to give him one, he pulled a black bandana over his face and pointed a gun at her asking for money.
Officers say he also ordered a male employee -- inside the store -- to get down on the floor.
Officers say he took off in the parking lot and got away with around $500.
On Sunday a man -- with a similar description -- robbed a nearby Subway on Port and Baldwin.
Officers say the man also wore a black bandana and pointed a gun at the clerk asking for cash.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
Police describe the suspect in Sunday's robbery as a black man, 5'07"-6' tall with a medium build.
He wore a black shirt and blue jeans.
Police say in both robberies the suspect pointed a gun at a female clerk.
Officers also tell us no customers were inside the Subway restaurants at the time of the robbery.
