Police Say One Man Robbed Three People at Gunpoint

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police chased down a man who they say held up three people at gun point and took off. One of the victims, David Lozano, says he couldn't describe the the feeling of hearing these words.
"Give me your wallet," Lozano said, was all the suspect said.
He says he heard those bone chilling words right inside his garage and turned around only to see a pistol pointed right at his face.
"It was an automatic, looked like a 9 millimeter," Lozano said.
Police say Lozano wasn't the only victim held up during Sunday morning's crime spree. They say Zavion Hall, 22, robbed two other people at gun point all before 7 AM.
Officers say the suspect jumped out of a stolen truck and left it in gear. The truck continued rolling until it stopped when hit a police car, officers say residents in the area are lucky it didn't hit their homes.
Police say they tracked Hall down on the 5200 block of Larcade where they cuffed him and emptied his pockets. Authorities found cash, drugs and stolen property from the victims.
"It was good to know that they did catch him but my concern was all the credit cards and things I had in my wallet, that he might get a chance to use it," Lozano said.
Police say Hall didn't have that chance, thanks to Officer Steven Moran who spotted Hall driving a black pick up and knew he matched the suspect description.
Lozano and the two other robbery victims identified Hall and police took him to jail.
He faces several charges including burglary of a habitation and there could be more charges, since police say he also hurt an officer during the incident.
