Police Say Motorcyclist Fractured His Skull and Pelvic Bone In Accident

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Police say -- at last check -- a man who received life threatening injuries in a motorcycle accident is in critical condition in the ICU.

It happened Friday night on Saratoga near Staples.

Police say a woman driving a blue mustang was turning into a parking lot when she hit the motorcycle.

Officers say the rider wasn't wearing a helmet and fractured his skull and a pelvic bone.

His name hasn't been released.

Police gave the woman a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.

They say she also could not show proof of insurance.
