Police Say Fight Over Carpet Cleaner Led To Stabbing

Fight Leads to Stabbing

CORPUS CHRISTI -- Police say a fight over carpet cleaner led to one man being stabbed this afternoon around 2:30.

When officers arrived, the 49-year old victim was standing outside his home in the 900 Block of Susan Drive.

That's near the intersection of Mcardle and Airline.

Police say a tenant living in the back of the victim's home stabbed him in the side.

Emergency crews rushed the victim to the hospital, but his injuries don't appear to be life threatening.

Officers arrested the 43-year old suspect and charged him with aggravated assault.
