Police: Possible Distracted Driver Clipped by 18-Wheeler

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police say a crash involving a sedan and an 18-wheeler may be the result of distracted driving. According to investigators, the driver of a Ford Fusion was trying to turn from Saratoga onto Rodd Field Road, but he didn't notice an 18-wheeler headed right for him.

The large truck clipped the front end of the sedan, causing both to go off the road. Neither driver suffered serious injuries. The Ford is likely totalled.

The driver was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
