CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a young boy who was walking home from school. It happened Tuesday afternoon at Belmeade and Shamrock, near Cullen Middle School.
Police say the 11 year old boy was walking along that stretch of road when he passed a silver mini-van parked on the side of the road. The man was inside that car, and that's when he exposed himself to the boy.
Neighbors say they can't believe it happened so close to where they live.
"It actually angers me is what it is you know? It really does anger me," one man said.
What makes this particular incident stand out is that this is the third time in two years that something like this has happened in this area. And what's more, the suspect seems to match the same description every time.
That description is a hispanic male from 40 to 49 years old. He was driving that silver mini-van we mentioned.
Rafaela Sanchez lives across from the middle school and says a similar thing happened to her when she was young.
"It traumatizes you. You remember these thoughts forever. It stays with you. If he's 11, 12, 13, he's going to remember forever," Sanchez says.
Police are looking through the sex offender database to see if that silver mini-van matches to anyone.
Cullen Middle School sent a letter to parents explaining what happened. It included saftey tips and numbers that parents and kids can call if they see anything like this happening.
