CORPUS CHRISTI - The Department of Public Safety arrested two people last week on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Now, Corpus Christi police believe the pair are responsible for 3 auto thefts, 4 home burglaries, 43 auto burglaries and multiple identity thefts that have affected a total of 103 people.
The names of the suspects have not been made public. Police say their crime spree started back in January.
Today, Corpus Christi police are trying to find the alleged victims of the crime spree. The stolen goods recovered include tools, backpacks and some track medals.
Those medals were awarded to someone who attended Sinton High School during the early 1980's. The name on the medals is DJ Galvan.
If you can help identify Galvan or believe your items may have been part of this crime spree, call the Corpus Christi Police Auto Theft Task Force and speak to Detective Mendez at 886-2841.
