CORPUS CHRISTI - Corpus Christi police recognized a five-year-old boy as a 911 Hero for saving his mother's life.
Back in February, Aidan Martinez, 5, was home with his mom when she began suffering a seizure. The boy picked up the phone and told Stephanie Lewis, a 911 operator, what was going on.
"He was really brave throughout the whole thing," said Lewis.
"Aidan picked up the phone and was able to tell me that she was still breathing, but that she was sleeping, so I knew she had lost consciousness," added Lewis.
Lewis said Martinez remained on the phone until help arrived. The boy's mother, Jennifer Martinez, received the treatment she needed from first responders. Police said she is ok.
