CORPUS CHRISTI - Police have a person of interest in connection to the hit and run that put a 17 year old in the hospital Sunday morning.

The family of Christian Carrillo told us this morning that the person of interest met with his attorney who contacted police.

Meanwhile, Carrillo remains in I.C.U. His family says he has a broken back. His lungs are in bad shape and he is not responding to reflex tests.

Carrillo left work and was walking along Ayers near Sunnybrook when a truck hit him and kept going.

Police told us that a warrant may not be issued until tomorrow or Friday.
