Police Chase Ends in Bailout

ROBSTOWN - A police chase ended with a car in a ditch and more than a dozen people detained by Border Patrol.

Police were trying to pull over a pickup truck for window tint that was too dark.

The truck took off, and eventually went off the road and crashed into a ditch at Highway 44 and 77, just behind the old Walmart in Robstown.

There were 14 people in the truck, including three teenagers.

One of them was badly hurt and taken to the hospital.

Border Patrol took the rest into custody as they are believed to be undocumented immigrants.
