CORPUS CHRISTI - Corpus Christi Police arrested a man on Friday in connection with a fatal stabbing in Flour Bluff. Officers say Marty Warford faces charges of murder for stabbing 24-year old Samuel Moore this past Tuesday night.
The stabbing happened near Waldron Road and Fawn. Detectives say the suspect reportedly robbed Moore earlier that day. The two got into a fight and that's when police say Warford fatally stabbed Moore. Just yesterday, the District Attorney dropped charges against Mark Baker for the same murder.
Baker told Six News he was innocent and it was just a matter of time for police to see that too. The District Attorney's Office didn't give us details about why they released Baker since it's an ongoing investigation.
