CORPUS CHRISTI - Police arrested 30-year-old Glen Sympson in connection to the Prosperity Bank robbery that happened around 10:30 this morning on Leopard near Violet.
Police say Sympson walked into the bank wearing a wig and fake beard with a dark hooded jacket and blue jeans on. Officers say Sympson threatened the teller with a handgun and demanded cash that he stashed in a plastic bag.
Officers say he then took off on foot toward the Long John Silver's on Violet where he hopped in a tan getaway car. Police arrested Sympson at his home nearby and took him to jail on an aggravated robbery charge.
According to online records from Nueces County, Symspon has two prior convictions for robbery and one conviction for burglary.
