Police Arrest Man for Weekend Shooting At Gloria Hicks Elementary

Three People Shot Outside Gloria Hicks Elementary School

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police arrested a man in connection with a weekend shooting.

Corpus Christi Police Department's gang unit arrested 18-year-old Jose Erebia Wednesday afternoon.

Their investigation determined Erebia was involved in the shooting near Gloria Hicks Elementary School Saturday afternoon.

It happened when a 15, 17 and 27-year-old were at the playground.

Police say a group of men shot into a crowd hanging out at the playground.

Two of the victims were hit in the leg and one got shot in the hand. Their injuries were not serious.
