Another pleasant fall day. Mostly sunny and warm. High 82. Southeast winds return for the next few days bringing back the gulf moisture by the weekend. The tail end of a cold front will fall apart in North Texas. The effects on us will be a stronger breeze on Saturday with a few isolated showers possible. Clearing for Sunday. Warmer weather expected for early next week.
Lake Corpus Christi continues to fill thanks to recent rains upstream. The city has decided to begin releasing some of the flood waters. As a result resident below the dam will start seeing rises on the Nueces River from Bluntzer to Callallen for the next week. No flooding is expected in those area.
