OKLAHOMA (KFDX)- Oklahoma police say three teens are set to be charged with first degree murder in Duncan after the shooting death of an Australian baseball player over the weekend.
Police say the reason they got for the shooting from the suspects was boredom.
They say the teens were looking for something to do, and when they drove by 23 year-old Christopher Lane of Australia jogging around 3:00 pm Friday he became their random victim.
"As long as there are individuals in their perspective, bad attention is better than no attention, then these things are going to occur," said Chief Daniel Ford from the Duncan Police Department.
