CORPUS CHRISTI - South Texas is chock-full of tennis talent, but few in the area can hold a candle to Sara Humpal.
Already a regional Champion, she recently placed fifth in the nation among 8 year olds, earning herself an invite to Florida to play against the best the world has to offer.
"A lot of people think I am really good for my age," said Humpal.
All of that says a lot considering she has been playing for only three years, and is currently a third grader at Incarnate Word Academy.
"It's just really fun and I don't know I just like playing it alot," said Humpal
"Nationally she is ranked 4 or 5 and well she is enjoying the game," remarked her father Scott.
And her lifelong dream is to be a professional tennis player while also pursuing a modeling career.
Humpal said, "I have always dreamed of playing professionally and I would love to model because they get to where cool clothes and I love modeling around the house."
It sounds a lot like her idol, Maria Sharapova.
