CORPUS CHRISTI - Nearly 1,000 people poured into the American Bank Center this morning to take part in this years centennial jubilee ministry conference. The event offered several vendors with religious keepsakes and books. Organizers say it's a chance for those who have faith and even those who are unsure to come together to share their experiences and hear the word of God.
Aside from the archbishop from San Antonio, Chris Horn, a former wide receiver for the NFL spoke to crowds about his own faith and how it helped him through tough times.
Chris Horn said, "Anytime you get this many people together for Jesus, I think it's awesome. I was able to listen to the talks this morning and they were really wonderful and inspiring."
