Payless Shoes In La Palmera Mall Evacuated

La Palmera Mall Evacuated

CORPUS CHRISTI - Holiday shoppers got a bit of a scare at La Palmera Mall this afternoon. Officials evacuated a group of people at the Payless Shoe store inside the mall. Apparently an air condition malfunctioned causing a smoky haze. No one was ever in danger; they just evacuated the store as a precautionary measure. The fire department showed up and fixed the problem.
