Patrick Makes First Court Appearance on Murder Charge

CORPUS CHRISTI - Patrick Todd, 22, made his first appearance in court today for the alleged murder of 35-year-old Leonard Jones on New Year's day. He was provided a court-appointed attorney during the hearing.

According to Corpus Christi police, Leonard was shot outside some apartments on Behman Street just before 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Witnesses told police Todd ran inside a unit after the shooting. He surrendered to police about an hour later.
